DR. VRANJES – Florence

Dr Paolo Vranjes was inspired by his grandfather, a silk trader with a passion for collecting essences and perfumes encountered on his travels.

Born and educated in Bologna, Dr. Paolo Vranjes decided to unite his personal history with that of a city unique for its culture of essences and perfumes: Florence. 

Here the practice of extracting essences has fused with the knowledge of the chemist. Catherine de Medici, the wife of the French King, was the gracious ambassadress of the art of making perfumes to a land that has made its own history in the manufacture of perfumes. 

“Antica Officina Del Farmacista”, was established in 1983 to enable Dr. Paolo Vranjes, pharmacist, chemist, cosmetologist, to produce and market, with his skilled staff, innovative treatments. 


Fragranze d’Ambiente

The meticulous research of the perfection and the love in the realization are the ingredients of “Fragranze d’Ambiente”, handicraft manufactured articles realized with high quality natural essence to create luxurious room fragrances which stimulate body and soul.

The “Fragranze d’Ambiente”of the Antica Officina become also a much-sought furnish complement: phial with essential lines, embellished by fans of wood canes, that refresh and purify any living spaces in a wise equilibrium of relaxing and stimulating feelings.

The Collection 

Dr. Vranjes creates a new fragrance every year, each one being presented in a Venetian hand blown bottle made by Artisan Glassmakers. These beautiful luxurious fragrances are suitable for anywhere in the home or boardroom and also make a fabulous welcoming scent in reception areas. They also make a very special gift.
